Project Management is a work in which the person in charge has to manage the activities and goals of the respective teams using proper project management skills. Project management is responsible work that requires dedicated thought and action from the leader to ensure flawless workflow.

It is a task of a magician planner. The work doesn’t end with planning; the hurdle is to make sure that all plans are done on time. Working with a team comes with a unique set of challenges, but it doesn’t mean that there is no scope for improvement. 1. Make sure that you have a proper schedule planned for each project.

Planning is the best tool for every project manager. It is the first and foremost step in your job, and improving your planning techniques will only lead to better performance of your team. This is one of the must-have project management skills.

2. Be clear and direct in your instructions to avoid confusion and delay.

You need to make sure that your team knows what is required of them. This step prevents the ambiguity of words like ‘best solutions’ ‘attractive look’ etc. Instead of giving a bunch of adjectives, describe to them what you expect or show them some examples. A clear idea produces proper results and least back and fro between clients.

3. Coordination and Collaboration with the team lead to efficient and effective results.

Always make sure that the teams are well-informed. A piece of clear information ensures an efficient flow of work and no overlapping. A well-coordinated team is sure to produce better results than a conflicting team. Be clear with your needs, and the team will ensure that it is delivered.

4. Use Planners or Applications to ensure that the priority projects are always on the top.

Every organization has a priority of work. Identify your priority work and make sure that the whole team is aware of that. As a project manager, you can use a public planner or a team planner application. It will make sure that everyone is aware of the deadlines and priorities and tailor their work accordingly.

5. Communicate clearly with your team about the requirements and focal points.

Communication is the key. Communicate everything, small or big, so your team knows what to do. The instructions will become the guiding light for your team and help them stay on the path.

6. Keep track of the tasks and follow up regularly.
